Destenika beach is a little calm bay located between the Toroni and Tristinika beaches. With turquoise waters awarded with Blue Flag,a sandy coastline and enchanting sunsets, Destenika beach is a dreamy getaway. A tavern/beach bar on the southern end provides sun-beds and umbrellas to relax, while you can enjoy traditional dishes by the sea.

Remains of ruins from the ancient Toroni can still be found just some meters under the surface. Unique history is one of the reasons to visit Toroni, as it has preserved the ruins of the ancient civilization to date. For the lovers of hiking, a trail to Likithos fortress will offer you a beautiful panoramic view of the wide open bay and a dive to the hidden beach nearby will reward you to the fullest.

Heading south is the popular little fishing harbour town of Porto Koufo, where you will find secluded beaches and some of Sithonia’s best seafood taverns. In the same direction you can visit beaches such as Kalamitsi, Kriaritsi, Tigania and Klimataria, which are a paradise for families with children and for all visitors who enjoy sandy beaches and the endless crystal clear sea.
